I Came Here To Run

Today, I am joining Starting Line as a Venture Partner. Over the past five years, I have helped a lot of founders raise money. Ezra, and now Starting Line, have always been the first place that I send them. They are world class investors, deeply relatable, and they just want to see founders take big swings and win. I’ve spent the last decade helping scale and operate very fast growing start-ups such as Instacart, Flexport, and now Chicago based Foxtrot, and am excited to put that experience to work finding the next wave of founders that are shaping the world and the products that we consume.

Being from Chicago, I feel strongly that this city needs a new brand of venture capital that is fast and audacious. If you look at Starting Line’s investments just over the past two years, you see a clear divergence from the reserved approach that venture firms have historically employed in the city.  You see bold, early, conviction across a vast spectrum of consumer companies that are redefining markets. I am humbled and excited to join the team that is redefining expectations of what consumer venture capital looks like.
